Use cases for parsing massive amounts of data:
- Return summed taxonomic distribution of reads at multiple levels (domain, family, etc.)
- Return summed functional distribution (KOs, Pfam, etc.)
- Return taxonomy (at given level) x functional distribution (KOs)
- Return all individual contigs + annotation for a given taxonomic group provided by the user
