YUV PixelFormat Support

I have a camera that supports YUV_444_Packed pixel format but this format is greyed out in the viewer for some reason. I was hoping that someone could help me determine why. I've launched the viewer with -d all and see as the last line:
arv-viewer-0.8 -d all

[20:14:52.008] 🆆 misc> [PixelFormat::to_gst_caps_string] 0x02180020 not found

arv-tool-0.8 features I see this:

Enumeration : [RW] 'PixelFormat'
EnumEntry : 'YUV_444_PACKED'
EnumEntry : 'RGB8'
EnumEntry : 'BayerBG8'
EnumEntry : 'BayerGB8'
EnumEntry : 'BayerRG8'
EnumEntry : 'BayerGR8'
EnumEntry : 'Mono16'

I've tried with Aravis versions 8.33 and 8.35 and they both report the same.

Is this perhaps some gstreamer plugin that is missing that is failing with the "caps_string = arv_pixel_format_to_gst_caps_string_full" call? It looks from arvenums.h that this pixel format is supported.

Hi,

Take a look at arvmisc.c That is where the conversion data are maintained. May be it is possibe to add YUV444Packed support. Patch welcome !
