/var/run/mdsd/default_djson.socket missing????

is this filed supposed to be installed by fluentd-plugin-mdsd? it's missing after installing fluentd-plugin-mdsd under Ubuntu subsystem 18.04 LTS

I'm encountering the same roadblock.

To add some potential ideas, most of the other files in /var/run/mdsd/default* are simple one line files with numbers, so I imagine you just draft a new one and provide info on the desired socket.

I found creating an empty file with that name did the trick, and I advise you to check the config stanza sementics...'@' isn't needed in a few of the key names.
