OVERVIEW

This is a programming exercise designed using an approach to instruction that incorporates instructor-written, Test-Driven Development-style code, developed by William E. J. Doane and Brian A. Danielak, which has been designed to give pedagogically useful feedback to students as they learn to program. 

This version has been intentionally BROKEN to support a class discussion about DEBUGGING.
