I think it would be good idea to introduce a characters-per-line limit.

Hambridge says: no more than 65 characters per line in e-mail. RFC 2822 puts that limit at 78. I think the latter sounds fair, even though this isn't e-mail.

Here's my clarification: I use Nano almost exclusively (for better or worse) and also state that publicly (e.g., on my website). I thought your comment was intended to make fun of me using an “idiot's editor.” Glad I was wrong.
