Title
Redesign Dashboard UI to align with updated Grant Home design
Context / Motivation
The current dashboard UI is visually and structurally out of sync with the newly proposed Grant Home design. This creates inconsistency in brand expression, hierarchy, and interaction patterns.
This ticket focuses on redesigning the Dashboard so it feels like a natural extension of the Grant Home experience, while preserving all existing functionality. The goal is visual, structural, and interaction consistency — not feature expansion.
Scope
- Visually align the Dashboard UI with Rachel’s updated Grant Home design
- Reconfigure the following elements to match updated patterns:
-- Button hierarchy (primary, secondary, tertiary actions)
-- Layout spacing and grid system
-- Typography usage (headings, body, metadata)
-- Card styles, states, and interaction affordances - Ensure consistency across:
-- Buttons, filters, and CTAs
-- Hover, active, and disabled states - Maintain all existing Dashboard functionality
-- No features removed
-- No new features added
Acceptance Criteria
- Mid-fi dashboard redesign that clearly communicates:
-- Page layout and section hierarchy
-- Primary vs secondary actions
-- Relationship between dashboard elements - Hi-fi dashboard design finalized (desktop-first):
-- Uses BCAN brand styles and tokens
-- Matches Grant Home interaction patterns
-- Visual language consistent across buttons, filters, and CTAs - Developer-ready handoff includes:
-- Annotated components and layout decisions
-- Clear indication of unchanged vs redesigned elements - Designs are shared in the BCAN Figma file with:
-- Commenting enabled
-- Clean file organization (no deprecated frames)
