Description

Description:
Finalize the core design foundations for the BRANCH platform before hi-fi designs and development proceed. This includes locking the color scheme (specifically removing blue tones), finalizing the design system, reviewing overall workflows, and creating clear user flow diagrams for each user type.

This work is critical to ensure visual consistency, alignment with client expectations, and shared understanding across design, product, and engineering teams.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Color Scheme
  • Remove blue tones from the current palette
  • Finalize primary, secondary, and neutral colors
  • Ensure colors meet WCAG accessibility contrast standards

Design System

  • Finalize typography (headers, body, buttons, labels)
  • Finalize button styles, form elements, and basic components
  • Document all styles and components in Figma for handoff

Workflow Review

  • Review end-to-end product workflow across key pages
  • Validate that workflows align with the product spec and client expectations
  • Identify and document any gaps or inconsistencies

User Flow Charts

  • Create flow charts for each user type:
    • Branch Leads
    • PD/Accountant
    • Staff/Students
  • Each flow clearly shows: login → home → project → key actions
  • Flow charts are easy to reference for design and development

Dependencies:

  • Confirmed user roles and permissions from product spec
