the good
nicely folds in the concept of metadata by using a z-stack right away

the bad
too long, had to skip indexing to get through to color map

the ugly
getting paths correct

The lesson was continued on the next day, covering colormaps and errors. This took 1 hour to deliver, rather than the anticipated 15'. Why? Partly due to execution issues, path issues, etc.
