As of Unity 2022.3.62f2, baking does not affect the mesh asset file in any meaningful way, leaving m_BakedTriangleCollisionMesh and m_BakedConvexCollisionMesh empty at all times. CC: https://discussions.unity.com/t/physics-bakemesh-save-mesh-asset/878970 It seems like these fields are filled during build without affecting the original asset. |
