Hi.

Do I need to change the value of "word configuredStripLength=144"; to match the total of leds on my strips before I upload it ?

usually not as DOF takes care of it!

But, what is the reason of that value? If I change it, the exact number of leds do a test when the board start up which is annoing IMO. I changed it for 1 instead of 64 and everythung seems to continue working same with DOF.

It’s a relic from the original script where you had to define the number of leds in order to light them all up properly.
For use case with DOF and virtual pins you can change that value to whatever you want.
