Doesn't work over RDP

I installed NCK on my laptop. When I log in remotely to my workstation (using mstsc.exe) the Copilot key is not remapped to right Ctrl there. I have to install it to the remote workstation as well to make it work. 
So basically, it means that I have to install it on any VM I'm going to connect to remotely, which is not always possible.
