Cannot use the control

I get an error message "Something has gone wrong. Check the technical details...' but the technical details link isn't clickable when trying to use this control. Also the name of the component that appears in the modern editor is 'unknown'.
I get a session ID with the error message but not sure if that's helpful. Please let me know if you need any further info to troubleshoot. Thanks in advance.

Have you packaged as a solution before attempting the import?

Would be helpful if the writer of the PCF control would share releases, but beggers can't be chosers.
