Not able to run any tutorial simulation

My Tutorial will not simulate. I get the error "Cannot connect to InfluxDB service at [redacted] to query profile with id 51aa7ff4-faaf-42a2-a13c-d89cffce0839. Please verify the URL!" I removed the redacted item because i am not sure if that information could be used in a malicious way. It is an adress, but i don't know exactly what for. I am running the ESDL map editor on my own machine, and i have made my own system succesfully. However, the issue arises when i try to run a tutorial. My docker toolsuite also does not work in my terminal. I can compose all items except the docker toolsuite which gives me the following error "Error response from daemon: failed to set up container networking: driver failed programming external connectivity on endpoint docker-toolsuite-panel-service-1 (8efe4bee6be4dc53e6c6cca534e84b834490147345cc3c3c74957ed832d0f4c6): Bind for 0.0.0.0:3400 failed: port is already allocated"
I hope you can help me, i would love to know what i am doing wrong.

Hi Lucas,

I think you’ve provided too little information for us to help you with your issue. How did you install our software? Did you change any of the default settings while installing it? You say you’re running the software on your local machine. I guess the [redacted] part is either “influxdb:8086” or “localhost:8086” depending on whether you run everything inside docker or not (or partially).

For the second issue you mention, could it be true that another service is running on port 3400 on your machine?

Hi, I installed the software by following the instructions from https://github.com/ESDLMapEditorESSIM/docker-toolsuite?tab=readme-ov-file#setting-up-and-running-the-software-stack
The redacted part is a localhost port i think [http://10.30.2.1:8086]. The system is run entirely inside docker. For the allocated ports i get different already allocated ports. So, it seems like there is already something running, but i am not sure why that would be because i follow the instructions very carefully.

That's interesting... that's an internal IP address in our datacenter. This means that you didn't follow the tutorial to create your own ESDL file. Nevertheless this is a mistake. I'm surprised that no one else mentioned this before

Oh, for the tutorial i did download the esdl file, to play around quicker with the features. But that leads to issues then? I figured the energy systems were added for exactly that reason, that i wouldn't have to first do all the building myself, but inspecting only the relevant parts for myself
