Refactor YAML plugin to match JSON Plugin

The JSON-Schema plugin recently had a refactor which may have broken the YAML-Schema Plugin, and if it didn't it did undo the parity. YAML-Schema must be refactored to match these changes, and a set of extracted utils should be added to DRY this up in the future.
