Game videos only run when in wide mode

Hello, I have a problem with playing videos. The problem is that when trying to run the video of a game that is not in wide mode, nothing is shown, and only the sound of the video is heard. This doesn't happen when I activate wide mode, which leaves me very confused. (this problem occurs with almost all games, but there are a few that do work)
Please help me :(

Per patomax on the Pegasus Frontend Discord, it seems as if this specific issue is more so from the videos themselves rather than the video playback feature.

For me at least, videos are able to play, even without wide mode.

I'll leave this open for now, just in case it turns out that this issue is something that can be dealt with on my end.

I tried to process the videos by handbrake but now the videos don't even play (neither audio nor video).

In the recording, the video that I processed in handbreak is sonic and knuckles.
Now I don't know what to do.
