As of v2.0.7: plotting of monthlies no longer works

This might be associated w/ the install-SLESXX vs install ... though I tried the trick that Scott suggested - linking install-SLESXX to install and the plotting programs still do not work.

I ask that we give some attention to this if we are to have a version GEOSadas-5.40 put into some cycling x-test and eventually FPP and FP.

Scott: I don't know whoelse to assign this to, but please add whoever else's name you think could help us out on this. Thanks.

@rtodling Hmm. Do you know what script/program is having an issue? I took a look at install of GEOSgcm and I don't see any references to say install as a directory. The few places I see install is the fully qualified install directory path.

Moreover, I thought for sure I've seen plots recently on runs by @Jcampbell-8 on the model development page. Are those made with different software?
