Problem | Feature

Google STT is not working for initial 4 to 5 times on iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. Then after it suddenly starts working.

We have a feature in our app where user can insert its query by speaking out. We are allowing only 10 seconds to user for speaking out the query and then converted text will be treated a search string.

On iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro this does not work for initial 4-5 times and suddenly it starts working out. However we tried on other iPhone models iPhone 6, iPhone SE, iPhone XS, iPhone 11 this issue has never reproduced on it.

Reached out to google support team and they mentioned they are not getting any request for Speech to Text from the devices where it's not working but they are getting the request from devices where the STT is working.
