issues building firmware files #1

I have issues building the files and even flashing them in ubuntu 13.10. I have installed everything required for avr and for python and even ubuntu. Everytime i run the "field_firmware_update" app it detects the card and shows some info about it like serial number then it says it got the files for the firmware then it wont flash the firmware. it says "failed to claim interface (-6)" and finally goes on to saying the update failed. The card says it enters loader mode but after that it wont work. Im not sure why the precompiled bootloader update and the precompiled v0.8.0 firmware files havent been uploaded to github along with the raw files....instead you guys chose to just add the raw files and make it hard as hell for us users to get they working. I had to go against your instructions to get pyusb installed along with other things which werent even mentioned in your flashing directions.
My yoli evo cards have v0.6.0 installed so im hoping v0.8.0 will solve many of the problems im having but also it says my bootloader is depreciated and might not support the newer firmware updates so to fix it i have to run the command --bootloader to update the bootloader which also fails to install so ya this isnt right at all. can you guys please upload the precompiled firmware files and bootloader files so we can flash our cards and resolve some bugs that i hope got resolved in the later revissions?? I mean v0.6.0 isnt even listed when i use the -l switch. It looks like it skipped over that version all together or that it did more harm then good and was better left out of the list but if thats the case y was it even added to the boards and sold to your customers if you knew it wasnt working??
