- 5th Jan: Team forming proposals, team members must be from the same cohort (Group A or B, 6-7 students, ideally 7, per group), a team of more than 7 people would be ignored automatically
- 14th Jan (10pm): Team forming proposal ends
- people who do not have a group would be grouped by GTAs
- we will announce the final team formation on the 15th Jan AM before the lab
- we will try our best to respect people's team formation, but sometimes would also have to break teams to make sure numbers are correctly distributed.
- 11th Feb: Mid-term lab oral (20%), Q&As as a group, for contents in all the labs. You can find the examination info here.
- 11th and 13th March: Demo showcase, final lab oral.
- 23rd March: Final Report (80%, this is aggregated and evaluated also based on the demo quality and final lab oral), you can find how to submit the required report, code and video in here.
Labs will happen in groups, and they will happen in the EEE level 1 lab. The first four labs would include GTA/UTA support. After the mid-term oral, the rest of labs are reserved time for the group project.
Each team will need to lend only 2 PYNQ board systems from the EEE Stores. Please only lend 2 boards per group, and identify that who has borrowed the boards on the team forming proposal page.
If your group need additional boards for later team project, you should ask Aaron or Sarim to arrange you one.
For various parts of the lab and later team project, likely you would have to register on either OpenAI or OpenRouter or other cloud services. Only ONE team member should register and keep all the related receipts. We will support you to reimburse the cost, if you are spending more than 50 pounds in total per group, you should ask Aaron first because otherwise you may not get reimbused.
