Possible to make bespoke style change as part of printing?

I would like to be able to play arbitrary text sounds as part of my printing function and it would be nice to be able to specify for a particular print statement what sound I want. Is it possible to do this without defining a style? I essentially want to modify the default inline in a print statement wrapper.
