Important

Hi everyone, thanks for joining!
Feel free to keep sharing your thoughts on the new Feature — we still need more discussion on this post.

We are planning to expand Trackify's features to include scene-based time management solutions. This will allow users to organize their tasks and time management according to various real-world contexts (e.g., study, work, health, personal development, etc.). Below is an outline of the early-stage plan for implementing this feature.

Objectives:

  • Introduce customizable "scenes" to Trackify that represent different life contexts (e.g., Study, Work, Health, Personal Growth).
  • Allow users to switch between different scenes to manage tasks specific to each scenario.
  • Enhance the user experience with recommendations and intelligent suggestions based on the selected scene.

Proposed Features:

  1. Scene Templates: Predefined templates for common life contexts (Study, Work, Health, etc.).
    • Users can select a scene template and personalize it with specific tasks and goals.
  2. Task Prioritization & Deadlines: Each scene will allow users to set tasks, assign priorities, and define deadlines.
  3. Progress Tracking: Provide visual indicators (e.g., progress bars, completion percentages) for each scene.
  4. Intelligent Recommendations: Based on user input and task trends, suggest optimized time blocks, task sequences, or goal adjustments.
  5. Switching Between Scenes: Make it easy to toggle between different scenes while maintaining separate task lists and progress for each.
  6. Feedback & Statistics: Offer insights into task completion rates, time usage, and suggestions for improvement.

Goals for the Next Sprint:

  • Implement basic structure for creating and switching between scenes.
  • Build initial scene templates (e.g., Study, Work, Health).
  • Set up user interface components for managing tasks within scenes.
  • Enable basic progress tracking within each scene.
  • Develop preliminary system for intelligent task recommendations.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Users can create a new scene, customize it, and add tasks.
  • Users can switch between different scenes and see relevant task lists.
  • Progress tracking is visual and updates as tasks are completed.
  • Basic recommendations are provided for task management.

Future Enhancements:

  • Expand the list of available scene templates.
  • Integrate more advanced task prioritization features (e.g., due date-based task suggestion).
  • Provide deeper analytics on user productivity within each scene.
