Trace net / trace path still not working

Seems like the patch from 0.30.5 does not fix the real issue.

The patch fixes a few things:

• Selecting a shape from below the top level hierarchy did not work
• Inactive shapes (in a sense of not being part of the stack) could hide "real shapes"
• The message about clicking the next point disappeared when other messages are shown and had a lifetime of 10s. Now it's shown permanently until the operation is finished or aborted.
