Explore the best way for MOP to fetch alerts from ALeRCE

While TOM Toolkit generally uses Query Forms to fetch alerts, etc., from brokers, the ALeRCE devs recommended connecting to the ALeRCE database to fetch alerts and features for larger queries. I have to check which way is best for MOP. I assume it would be nice for the wider community to have access to both types of features and pick up whichever matches their needs.
