I don't get it.
The program could be great : it seems quite good at searcvhing through prompts...
But there is basic stuff missing which makes ir unusable in real life !
Is that normal that I can't simply display the puctures in a given folder ?
When I click on a folder naqme in the left sidebar, it opens the said folder... in WIndows !???

Isq that a bug in my install ? Is that a feature ???

The folder tree is a bit buggy and should be completely overhauled in my opinion, but currently how it works is you have to deselect all folders and select only the main folder and then the subfolder you want to display.

In this example I can see pictures under folder "pics" and subfolders August_2024 and outputs >txt2img > 2024-03-08 and the rest will be hidden.

With the newest dev version the Clear button doesn't clear all folder selections so that is a bug as well.
But ye... you could workaround until this is fixed.

The folder browser in its current state is not intuitive, at least when approaching the tool with modern application navigation expectations. Clicking on a folder should not open Explorer. I don't need that kind of instant access to my OS file browser when I'm capable of opening it on my own, and in all likelihood have it opened already. That kind of function should ideally be hidden behind a context menu. Instead, clicking on a folder should change the selected image scope to that folder and its subfolders.
