Tap anywhere to dismiss causes freeze

Describe the bug: when you have tap anywhre outside to dissmiss option turned it causes freeze

**Process To Reproduce:**screen shot using snapper 3 using translomatic to translate something then dissmissing by pressing out side then immidiatly screenshotting again will cause the whole system to freeze until you perform respring

Expected behavior: not to freeze
