Maybe an option for image re-encoding

An option for image re-encoding could make for much smaller file sizes and make for much less strain on spacebar as a whole, though this would be opt-in unless it worked well enough to where there was little to no difference then I'd think about making it a pop up where one could opt out.

(looking for opinions before I do anything, so please, feel free to comment your opinions)
