Different representation of smaller seas and river inputs across models

How can we code the different representation in models of the smaller seas and rivers connected to the Mediterranean? Here is how it is coded at the moment:

Can we agree on a set of parameters to describe the different treatment which is valid across models? Would it be better to just write a small paragraph describing it in words?
