DOCA Version Updates

Hi,

I am new to DOCA. I am currently working BF3 with DOCA 2.9 version on it. I am attempting the samples and apps you provided. But I cannot build properly due to the DOCA version I guess. It seems like you changes a lot of the names and verbs from 2.9 to 3.1.

So my question is can I update from 2.9 to 3.1 easily, I mean like just one line command. I have checked the DOCA installment page and found nothing. Just double check with you guys. Reinstall DOCA is kind of complex to do.

Reviving this issue as I was moving fast and briefly fell into the same pitfall of using the latest 2.9.4 DOCA devel image and the build failing (the meson build configuration specifically).

In case it still helps any, using 3.x builds fine given a quickly spun up dev environment container via:

docker run --rm --privileged -v $(pwd):$(pwd) -v /dev/hugepages:/dev/hugepages --net=host -ti nvcr.io/nvidia/doca/doca:3.2.1-devel-ubuntu24.04-host

While the VERSION file contents is a good hint, perhaps it would be worth noting the currently targeted or compatible DOCA major version in the README so others avoid using 2.x images that are currently placed up front as latest in the image registry?
