The app misses dll files and fails to download from raw.githubusercontent.com

Hey there! I want to report a bug that the app isn't working cuz it's missing dll files.

I downloaded the DLL files from dll-files.com.

The app worked but the but when I open the settings the ( Updates, Recognitions, Translations) is in red text.

When I enter the updates there is nothing to update; the same thing with the translations and recognition.

Please help I really need the app. I tried to fix this problem for 3 days.

Not sure about dlls, as they are bundled in distribution archive (if downloaded from github). Maybe it conflicts with some system libs.

As for empty updates. Take a look at #98. In short, try installing Google Chrome browser (maybe other browsers will do the same, I just haven't checked it). It marks github ssl certificate as trusted. You can remove Chrome then if you don't need it

Download and install Google Chrome browser. Run ScreenTranslator. Open it's settings. In Update tab click Check now. Install all translators and some recognizers (languages) that you need. Go to Recognition tab and select source language. Go to Translation tab, select target language and check all translators in the list. Click Ok

I have the same problem. I downloaded the 64bit version which cannot download any updates. So I tried downloading the 32bit version which can install updates. Can be used normally

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005-2008-2010-2012-2015-2019-2022 Redistributable Package for Windows and everything will work
