due to that the motor is directly integrated into the tire and its enclosed with bad thermal conductivity the motor is overheating.
maybe we switch to a beld drive. A belt drive moves the motor away from the tire. The motor is less exposed to dirt compared to direct drive. With a belt a transmission is easily realizable. A flexible belt can be 3d printed easily with flexible filament.
