Implement X32 "keyboard" support for linux console

Goal: control the linux shell with the X32 Buttons (without an external keyboard)

Just a quick idea while reading this...
Wouldn't it be cool to implement a button to activate a keyboard using the Select and Mute buttons as Letters combined with description in the scribble strip and other functions like shift key and numbers for the bus select buttons or so?
This would speed me up writing at the console instead the stock keyboard since the board does not supply a touch display...
