Some improvements I want #2

Here is a list of some improvements I want on this plot. I would love any help from anyone interested.
- Dynamic x-axis and y-axis labels that adjust intermittently upon zoom in and zoom out. That is currently the case and is the default. However, I would like to manually adjust the tick mark frequency (no ticks at smaller scale than smallest unit, no ticks on marks other than smallest unit) and labels.
- Flexible legend label muting. I would love to be able to click on the recession label in the legend and have it turn off (or gray out) all the recession bars. I am not sure yet if I prefer this, but I would love to figure out how to have one label for the fed funds target and apply it to both the target series and the range series and have it turn the whole thing on and off despite it being two separate plotting objects. I might not want this though. It might be nice to keep the target vs range series separate.
- Adjustable hovertool. Certain series become irrelevant over certain ranges of the plot. I get around this by simply having those values be
NaN. It would be nice to have the values the hovertool reports vary over different ranges.
