4K issue

First of all, thank you for your work.

The problem is that on my TCL C805 TV, despite having a 4K subscription, movies only play in FHD on the 21.2 Kodi version
with the Skyshowtime addon.
Another issue: I can't get it to work on Xbox, but I assume it's not even possible there.

I have a similar issue but it depends what you mean by 4K. If you want 4K HDR or Dolby vision you have to tick those options in the add-on. I want to play 4K without HDR or Dolby vision so I leave the HDR and Dolby vision boxes unticked. However my tv, a Sony Bravia 7, will not play standard 4K and reverts to 1080p HD. What I have to do is this. In the input stream adaptive settings on the add-on I have to choose 'manual OSD' and choose the maximum resolution to be 4K. It will then play the stream in 4k. But if you want HDR or Dolby visionjust make sure that the two options are ticked in the add-on settings
