Magical Sponge Duplicating and possible disappearance

So if you place the magical sponge on a seaweed block and it breaks it will lead to the sponge duplicating
and the super sponge disappears if placed in a non source 1x1 water block i think not 100% sure but it did disappear on me

im using the datapack on an aternos server
spigot 1.21.8
