Server runs as root

Hi,
Maybe I'm misunderstanding but it looks like the server is running under wine as root. Does this introduce potential security risks? Is there any way to specify with environment variables a different user to run the server under?

Not exactly, it's not running as root (UID 0).

Usually, SteamCMD runs games with the steam user that has the pid:gid 1000:1000 by default.

You can override this using the PUID and GUID env variables, see documentation
