SPQR: solve and solve_default both return NULL

To debug...

factorize doesn't work... cholmod test routines say sparse matrix OK, but SPQR factorize method returns RuntimeError: factorize aborted: CHOLMOD_INVALID : failure: invalid input (-4). Could it be something else than the sparse matrix???

Have you tried the new version of SuiteSparse to have the debug symbols
and traceback the issue?

I've installed it and I'm using it. Still didn't discover what happened... but I'm not fully concentrated on it... maybe later during the night?

make clean: Remove all files not in the original distribution, but keep the libraries
