Getting items in double

So it's been 2 seeds that I have tried but when I do close the game after a while when I'm finished for the day, the next time I go back i receive double the item I already have, if I have got the magic beans the next time I open up the game another one as been added in my inventory, if I have a bottle too it duplicates itself and fills my bottle slot completely
