"Features" is either broken or I don't know how to use it

Hi, I just installed the plugins hoping to use "pinning". The installation was successful as best I can tell: all the plugins appear in the preferences > plugins menu. When I activate "Features", the only thing that changes is that I see the text "type to start searching" at the bottom of the history list. That text is not clickable, there is no input box, and typing does nothing. Similarly, I don't see any way to pin items - there are no additional options in the list, and right- and left-clicking on history items both just paste the item.

Also, I notice that even the "type to start searching" text disappears after I paste any item, and I need to restart diodon to see it again.

I have the same issue … do I really have to downgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 to be able to quickly find my GitHub access token ?
