Current Status of Project

I have a couple of questions about the status of SLNOS. I am in complete support of the reasoning behind the project, but it seems like I may be a couple of years behind on discovering it. Is the project currently being actively developed?

I would really love to use @oxij 's nixpkgs with the Gentoo like use flags, and had considered running it myself with regular merges from nixos:master. I noticed that it was mentioned that it would become part of SLNOS if it wasn't accepted

I don't have the low level of understanding in the nix language required to contribute to the nixpkgs repo, but would be happy to contribute documentation / a website for discovery
