ZFS native encryption

Currently there is no support in the genkernel-next for ZFS native encryption when an encrypted ZFS dataset is used for the root. ZFS encryption will be supported with ZFS 0.8.0 when released. The ZFS encryption is supported currently in the ZFS master branch and 0.8.0_rc[123] releases.

I have a patch file available for this that I've been using for about a month now.
