Describe the bug / error
The new document library experience that's currently rolling out has numerous critical and less critical flaws
VERY Critical - Folder creation
If I disable folder creation on a document library the "Folder upload" feature no longer disappears, despite the new folder button being gone
Folders hard to create
How are users expected to know that they have to click the current folders name in order to create a folder? - and not "Create or upload"?
Somewhat critical - View formatting breaks the UI
This is a long standing issue, but is even more critical now (Viewformatting | Setting commandBarProps "primary" and "position" breaks "hide" key · Issue #10480 …) - if I have a different button (in this case "checkIn", "checkOut" and "undoCheckOut" as "Primary" this is no longer respected, AND the new button is moved off to the left of the right hand "group" of buttons , and no longer a primary button
Less critical - View formatting settings missing
View formatting settings are impossible to find, using common design principals, the fact I have to look at the very far right of my screen to identify something that relates to what's already on the far left of my screen is HIGHLY confusing
SPFx
My command set buttons are now ALL moved "off screen" and into an overflow menu, this is frustrating when a button has been built specifically to minimize the number of clicks a task takes, and there's no way for me to move it "forwards"
Overall, it feels like this new layout has only been tested in a "bog standard" document library, but Microsoft has millions of customers that've invested millions of dollars into building on top of your platform, this is starting to look like the nightmare that was the lists UI update a few short years ago.
I beg you all, please please don't forget extensibility, low or pro-code, your customers have been building on your platform for years, negating that is eroding trust, and causing frustrations
Steps to reproduce
Be unfortunate enough to get the new layout for SharePoint Document Libraries
Expected behavior
A more consistent experience, where my customizations aren't down prioritized, and UI changes don't break the UX
