Interest in iOS Shortcuts integration?

I am interested in Shortcuts integration in iOS Telegram apps. On Telegram Inc's iOS Client, they have a single shortcut to send a text message to a user via their phone number.

Well, what if you wanted to send to a group? Doesn't look like it can do it. It's just select a person by their phone number.

I would try to send a pull request or create an issue but Telegram Inc's repository doesn't look like a very community driven project as everything is closed: https://github.com/TelegramMessenger/Telegram-iOS/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed and nothing has ever been accepted. It's more a code dump and from looking at the chat, this seems to be how things are run.

I just installed Swiftgram and I see it has no Shortcuts integration whatsoever. That's a shame.

But it does seem PRs are accepted: #121

Would a PR for some more through and useful Shortcuts be integration be considered for acceptance? #121

If Swiftgram periodically merges in stuff from upstream, why does it not currently have that very limited Shortcuts support I mentioned? Is it an App Store issue or some other technical issue?

It has. There're no changes to Shortcuts in Swiftgram.

Weird, I don't see it in my iPad for some reason.

Try typical iOS troubleshooting. Reboot the device, re-enable permissions for Swiftgram. I think it might need Siri access to work. As a last resort, try reinstalling the app.

Still personally interested in much more expansive shortcuts, matching Messages and maybe more. 😃 .

Hmm, in all the messaging apps I'm using, none of them support Shortcuts sending to their equivalent of groups or people without phone numbers not in Contacts or something. Ugh, no existing UX to copy. I did notice Messages has "Open Conversation" with a dynamic dropdown of recent conversations so maybe that's some UX we can crib off of.
