Would be nice to include a DataBroker as an alternative to minimap icon. (Also an option to hide the minimap icon)

I am a newcomer to addon development, so what is a DataBroker? What kind of frame/view/component is called DataBroker, can you attach a link or screenshot as an example?

Addons like Titan Panel or FuBar display data via data brokers. More advanced data brokers provide data into a table, and display addons can receive callbacks to refresh their display of this data. However what I'm requesting is to simply register a "quicklaunch" function, so the trinket menu can be launched via Titan Panel instead of the minimap button. For people who use a lot of addons this is a way to avoid cluttering everything with minimap icons. A couple addons that come with a DataBroker which you might take a look at to see how they implement this:
