The testcase generation

I would like to simulate ventus for other applications. However, I do not see the software stacks in this repo. I found there is a software toolchain for ventus in this website (https://opengpgpu.org.cn/html/web/project/release/index.html). Can this toolchain be used for this simulator? Are the test cases in this repo generated by this toolchain? Or are these test cases generated by other tools? Thank you!

Thank you for your interest in the Ventus simulator!

To generate test cases, please refer to our LLVM-based toolchain at [THU-DSP-LAB/llvm-project](https://github.com/THU-DSP-LAB/llvm-project). At runtime, [pocl](https://github.com/THU-DSP-LAB/pocl) will generate two files for each kernel: a .metadata file and a .data file.

Currently, only the Spike simulator is connected to the driver. For the cycle-accurate simulator, you can run it by placing these two files in the simulator's working directory. The development of the cycle-accurate simulator was paused for a while but has recently resumed. Some instructions may not be fully supported yet, but we are working on integrating it with the driver.
