Broken image sending with HEIF, HEIC or HIF extensions

Description

Images with High Effeciency formats — HEIF, HEIC or HIF — do not send while picking them directly from the Telegram iOS app. Sending while sharing from Files app works well. Tried on few different devices — iPhones & iPads with same iOS version.

Expected Behavior

Image is sent to participant

Actual Behavior

Endless image loading animation

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open chat in Telegram
2. Tap “Choose file” clip
3. Select image.heif etc. as a “file” or pick it directly from the gallery

Environment

Device: iPhone && iPad

iOS version: 26.3

App version: 12.4.1
