Linux home directory pollution #60

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Sidenoder created the directory /home/(username)/sidenoder. I don't think anyone likes their home directory being polluted, so this is a feature request to not do that.

Ideally should use the XDG Base Directories for storing data: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/XDG_Base_Directory
Describe alternatives you've considered
At the minimum, it should make the folder hidden (e.g. named .sidenoder) if the XDG directories are not viable for some reason
