WAU update disabled. won't update to 2.2.0

Hi,
Using intune to deploy the MS store version and configuring updates. All works ok except WAU remains in version 1.x and when checking the logs it shows update disabled (Romanitho.Winget-AutoUpdate is in excluded apps in autoconfigurator). How can I control that from the intune configuration profile? or will it eventually update from the MS Store?

That update broke stuff from this fork so for now it is pinned to prevent the update, so what you are seeing is expected behaviour. I imagine eventually this fork will support WAU v2.x and it will then update like normal.
