Rationale

Ensure that Arm hardware is connected/functional prior to starting the arm, especially IK. Provide targeted diagnostic information about the arm and its sensors to WRover operators.

Required Actions

• Create a software package containing Arm tests, including:
  • Encoder connectivity tests
  • Encoder co-rotation tests (slightly move the arm, make sure the encoder moves)
