TCI

Any chance of getting TCI, or CAT, for rig connectivity? I use Thetis and it does not use Hamlib, only TCI or CAT.

@theoldxmusicman could you please explain a bit more how this use case actually looks like? I'm currently not really getting what you want to achieve.

I'm also wondering how many people would also need that.

I use Thetis HL2 for control of my SDR radio. Thetis is also used for Anon SDR radios. To connect other software's to Thetis requires either a TCI or CAT connection. Thetis does use Hamlib. I connect Log4om, WSJTX, Cluster-TCI-Bridge, and Station Master to Thetis using TCI. I believe Smart SDR which is used with the Flex SDR radios also needs TCI for connections, but I'm not 100% sure. TCI is becoming more and more common in the ham radio world, especially with the digital SDR radios and all the software programs associated with those radios.

I have transferred this to an issue, and assigned myself to it. @ceotjoe whatever hackjob answer I come up with will probably need to be finessed into our bridge system I believe you have been tasked with working on.
