• Project Title: Enhancing Our Template Playground with AI Features

Project Description: Our Template Playground (https://playground.accordproject.org/) is a web application designed to help onboard users to our technologies. To make this process even more seamless, we propose adding AI features that will simplify the creation, editing, and previewing of contract templates. This project will build upon the work carried out last year in the context of VS Code.

Motivation: The primary goal of this project is to enhance user experience by integrating AI capabilities into the Template Playground. By doing so, we aim to make it easier for users to create, edit, and preview contract templates, thereby increasing the adoption and usability of our technologies.

• Expected Outcomes:

AI-Powered Template Conversion: Allow users to upload a file and use AI to convert it into an Accord Project template.
Auto-Complete Suggestions: Incorporate auto-complete suggestions when editing using the code editors built into the web app.
Technical Approach:

• AI-Powered Template Conversion:

Develop an AI model capable of understanding and converting various document formats into Accord Project templates.
Integrate this model into the Template Playground, allowing users to upload files and receive converted templates.
Auto-Complete Suggestions:

Implement an AI-based auto-complete feature within the code editors of the web app.
Ensure that the suggestions are contextually relevant and enhance the editing experience.
Timeline:

Familiarize with the existing codebase and tools.
Engage with mentors and community members to gather insights and feedback.

Research and develop the AI model for template conversion.
